Kitchen Assistant.
We are looking for an able bodied individual with a good work ethic, enthusiasm as well as someone with a good personality to be a part of our small yet productive kitchen team. Someone that can keep the kitchen clean and tidy, wash pots during busy service as well as help our chefing team as and when needed; food preparation and assisting the chefing team during busy service but the priority at first will be pot washing. Are you willing to learn & keen to learn? This might be the position for you!
Flexible hours can be offered although the vast bulk of hours offered will be at the weekends, this position is shared with others and so there is flexibility in the rota, there will be no fixed minimum hours to start with but there is potential for fixed shifts if you prove to be reliable and hardworking, again mostly at the weekends with the odd shift mid week during the busy months. There is also scope for progression should the successful applicant show sufficient drive & enthusiasm.
Due to the nature of working in a kitchen environment as well as rules around working evenings we are requiring a minimum age of 17 years old for this position and you MUST be able to provide your own reliable transport, prior kitchen experience is a huge bonus, on the job training will be provided.
