Kitchen Assistant.
We are looking for an able bodied & hardy individual with a good work ethic and enthusiasm. Someone that can keep the kitchen clean and tidy, wash pots during busy service as well as help our chefing team as and when needed; food preparation as well as potentially plating of dishes and assisting the chefing team during busy service. This is a tough fast paced position and not for the faint of heart.
There is scope for progression should the successful applicant show sufficient drive & enthusiasm. This position is shared with others and so there is flexibility in the rota, there will be no fixed minimum hours to start with but there is potential for fixed shifts if you prove to be reliable and hardworking, You MUST be available at the weekends so if you cannot work reliably at weekends this isn’t the position for you.
Due to the nature of working in a kitchen environment as well as rules around working evenings we are requiring a minimum age of 17 years old for this position and you MUST be able to provide your own reliable transport, prior kitchen experience is a huge bonus, on the job training can be provided. Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
