JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant for our Client to support their Kitchen Operations. The ideal candidate will assist with meal preparation, food safety compliance, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth workflow in the kitchen while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle kitchen-related tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

• Assist in the preparation of meal ingredients, including washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping vegetables, fruits, poultry, and meal.
• Assist with unloading and organizing delivered food supplies.
• Properly store food supplies to maintain freshness and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Follow food and beverage safety protocols.
• Adhere to hygiene policies and procedures in handling and storing food.
• Comply with workplace safety and health regulations.
• Maintain quality control procedures to ensure food preparation standards are met.
• Ensure food preparation areas, kitchen stations, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and hygienic kitchen environment.
