Job Description Multiple positions available: Chef, Cook and Kitchen Hand What you’ll do: Working in our Resort bistro, you’ll support the Kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality meals by providing either cooking or non-cooking duties in a kitchen or food preparation area. On a daily basis you will: Under the direction of the Head Chef, undertake cooking duties to a consistently high standard. Undertake general cleaning duties within a kitchen or food preparation area and scullery Cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in a kitchen and restaurant Assist colleagues who are cooking including assembling and preparing ingredient What you’ll bring: A good attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team Genuine Interest in working in a commercial kitchen, preparing fresh produce Demonstrated willingness to learn and acquire new skills An ability to work in a fast-paced environment Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion Demonstrated knowledge and abilities in kitchen operations. A genuine passion for your craft, with the ability to create and present contemporary dishes (Chef) Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a team and engage with colleagues. Formal qualifications in commercial cookery (Chef) Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays What’s in it for you?
