✔ Who We’re Looking For

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is essential
• Sushi preparation or Japanese cuisine experience is highly regarded (for Sushi Maker)
• Strong knife skills, food safety knowledge, and an eye for presentation
• High standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
• A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to learn or lead
• Cookery students who are passionate about Japanese food are encouraged to apply

✔ Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with consistency and care (Sushi Maker)
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and kitchen operations (Kitchen Hand)
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures
• Support food prep, stock management, and cleanliness
• Contribute to smooth daily operations as part of a collaborative kitchen team
• Uphold Sushi Train’s high standards of quality and service
