JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a strong background in kitchen & bath renovations. This role involves working closely with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen layouts, utilizing design software, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the design process. The Kitchen & Bath Designer will also engage in both inside and outside sales, promoting high-end kitchen products and services.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field such as interior design or remodeling.
• 5+ years in Design Flex (previously Design 2020) CAD software.
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on high-end sales techniques.
• Knowledge of construction processes related to kitchen renovations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with retail sales practices, order entry, and understanding cabinets.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to pricing and budgeting.

  Pay: highly competitive salary plus uncapped commissions

• Provide 5-star client experience in design and sales through client education, accurate measure/design and follow through.
• Provide in-home consultations to measure, discuss their wishes, and offer professional opinions while developing rapport.
• Daily maintenance of current customers.
• Design extraordinary kitchens & baths for customers.
• Ensures that they are representing Cabinet IQ products and services accurately.
• Create detailed kitchen & bath cabinetry and countertop layouts and designs considering functionality and aesthetics using Design Flex (previously Design 2020) software.
• Present design concepts to clients and make revisions based on feedback.
• Keeps and maintains all contacts, including address, phone, email, and all notes using CRM.
• Follow up on inbound leads within 2 business days of “New Lead” and qualify them (Or Delegates).
• Understand client design requests and collaborate with them to set an initial budget.
• Provide 100% accurate designs and proposals and follow up within a timely manner to learn about and overcome purchasing hesitations.
• After invoices are paid, order cabinets and countertops and provide operations with the documentation.
