Catering/Kitchen Assitant - Clifton/Nottingham - Start Date 1st September 2025

Relish School Food are a Fresh Food company, passionate for providing top quality meals to schools across the country, including special needs schools. We recently won the Jamie Oliver award within one of our schools.
The successful candidate must have a passion for service and food, be reliable and enjoy working in schools.
This role is covering long-term sickness and will be for one year.

Full induction and training will be provided by our experienced Chef.

  • 1 x 10 hours p/w, £12.21 per hour, 11:30 p.m. - 13:30 p.m.- Monday to Friday.
  • Term Time Only, get paid during summer holidays and half terms
  • You will work alongside other Kitchen Assistants and the Chef Manager.

The following role will require you to:

  • Support the Chef Manager and team to prepare the food daily - a background in working in kitchens is desirable.
  • Carry out cleaning duties.
  • Serve meals to pupils and staff, parents and governor’s of the school.
  • The food offer and or menus are carefully prepared and appropriate in balance colour, content, style and cost.
  • Must have a good understanding of safeguarding or be willing to learn.
  • And most importantly be a team player to drive the Relish ethos forward.
  • You may also be required at the request of the company to work at other Relish schools to cover sickness/absence.
