Kitchen Chef Full time - Hourly – Weekly Basis Estimated Pay range: $19.90- $23.00/hr. Based on qualification & experience Job Summary: The responsibilities of the chef are to provide customers with a pleasant and satisfactory eating experience, an operational role with some supervisory responsibilities. Responsible for helping the Executive Chef in menu execution and monitoring daily food preparation and quality. Key Responsibilities: Implement and execute menus /recipes created and designed by Executive Chef Responsible for the day to day operation of the kitchen Compliance with kitchen policies Have a good understanding of ingredients and nutrition Be able to communicate with the kitchen team Adhere to sanitation and food safety rules and regulation Maintain professional appearance and behavior with customers and team members Gross Profit: Control daily food inventory Reduce shrink/ Manage waste, utilize rewraps if in good condition, from Meat, Fish, Produce Labor: Work efficiently Monitor schedule - insure it is aligned with business needs Expenses: Control waste- food, supplies, gloves, packaging Education and Experience: 5 years experience as a chef; Bachelor’s Degree from a Culinary Institute Food Safety and Sanitation current certification Ability to work in a global environment Average Computer skills Personal Charateristics: Good people skills Sales driven Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects Results-oriented Good Communicator Why you’ll love working here!
