JOB SUMMARY:
As a Kitchen Clerk at Marilu’s Market, you are integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our Food Prep Station while upholding the highest standards of quality and customer service. Your responsibilities include maiking sandwiches, salads and wrap each morning, meticulously rotating old and new stock to maintain freshness, and ensuring that quality control measures meet Marilu’s Market standards. You will be actively involved in food preparation, packaging, and managing display cases to present our delicious ready to eat to customers. Providing attentive customer service is essential as you assist patrons with their selections and inquiries. Additionally, you will handle stock management, unload orders, and receive deliveries, while also taking care of garbage disposal and regularly cleaning and maintaining both retail and backroom floor spaces. Closing duties involve thorough cleaning, including washing dishes and utensils, and ensuring all areas are tidy and sanitized. Adherence to health, safety, and food handling protocols is paramount, with a neat appearance and proper attire required at all times. Punctuality and communication for scheduling, along with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization, contribute to the overall success of Marilu’s Market. You may also be assigned other duties as needed by Department or Store Managers to support departmental operations.
