Job description:
We are looking for a cook to work Friday - Sunday in a busy, fast pasted environment. Additional hours are available and you may be asked to cover holidays.
Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and recipes provided
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Assist in meal planning and inventory management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
-Level 2 in food Safety and Hygiene is required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and methods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
