Cook II $3,000 Sign on bonus HIRING IMMEDIATELY  * Location: Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025 * Schedule: Full time position ,shifts include weekends and holidays. * Perks: Medical, Vison, and Dental Benefits for full-time positions, 401k, employee discount, Uniform provided, Paid Time off (PTO, sick, bereavement, ESST and holidays)   POSITION SUMMARY:  Follow the instructions of the Chef and Sous Chef to help ensure high-quality food service is provided.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Rotate inventory and ensure freshness of product. * Refill items that require prepping. * Prepare sauces and intermediate items while following recipes. * Prepare orders in a quick and consistent time frame. * Clean the Concessions area during downtime. * Prepare recipes for the line. * Possess knowledge of the current menu items. * Use creativity with specials. * Clean various kitchen equipment as needed. * Restock and clean the line as needed. * Ensure set up is thorough and complete for next shift. * Familiarity with the following equipment (training in use provided): fryer, char broiler, flat-top, hot well, walk-in refrigerator, walk-in freezer, assortment of knives, etc. * Other duties as assigned.   JOB REQUIREMENTS: * 18 years of age or older. * Must possess basic cooking skills and have a basic understanding of cleaning and sanitizing in a kitchen setting. * Most possess good knife skills. * Must possess knowledge of kitchen equipment. * Must possess the ability to obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license. PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: * Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including nights, weekends and holidays. * Strong multitasking skills with additional attention to detail. * Possess creativity when it comes to food specials. * Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. This is a very active position. * Ability to lift 50lbs. * Must be able to work flexible shifts in a crowded, noisy and occasionally humid environment.
