Job Description Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs in day-to-day kitchen coordination. Maintain kitchen schedules, rosters, and attendance records. Coordinate daily briefings and ensure communication flows smoothly within the kitchen team. Follow up on maintenance requests for kitchen equipment. Coordinate with the storekeeper and purchasing team for daily requisitions. Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of ingredients and supplies. Keep records of monthly inventories and assist in cost control processes. Maintain updated recipe files, SOPs, and HACCP documentation. Handle internal communication, email correspondence, and kitchen-related reports. Support menu planning by organizing recipe cards, plating guides, and costing sheets. Ensure compliance with resort hygiene and sanitation standards. Assist with kitchen audits and follow-up actions. Coordinate training sessions for food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures. Qualifications Previous experience as Kitchen Coordinator or similar administrative role in hospitality. Experience in a resort environment (Maldives experience is an advantage). Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and terminology. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with inventory systems.
