Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in nutrition or human services preferred.
  • Valid Food Manager Certification.
  • Experience with food service and preparation.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures, family systems, and social backgrounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passage of background clearance, TB test, and other required testing.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of liability insurance
Responsibilities
  • Operate as a member of the Daybreak team as needed.
  • Prepare menus that are nutritionally balanced and culturally inclusive.
  • Ensure daily meal provision and supervise meal preparation, serving, and cleanup.
  • Maintain health code standards in the kitchen, pantry, freezers, refrigerators, and dining room.
  • Organize and maintain food donations and storage areas.
  • Support volunteers and community service workers.
  • Participate in company training as required.
  • Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.
