You will ensure that all kitchen purchasing, inventory, and cost control activities are conducted efficiently, aligning with the company’s financial objectives while supporting the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences. Overview The role involves close collaboration with the culinary team to monitor food costs, analyze purchasing data, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or guest satisfaction. Monitor and control kitchen-related purchasing and inventory to ensure accurate cost tracking. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly. Analyze food costs and identify opportunities to optimize expenditures. Prepare detailed reports on kitchen costs and financial performance. Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to align purchasing with menu demands and minimize waste. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and company standards. Assist in budget preparation and forecasting for kitchen expenses. Communicate findings and suggestions clearly to management and culinary teams. Minimum of 2 years experience in cost control within kitchen or food and beverage departments. Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
