Job Description Are you passionate about crafting the perfect cup of coffee and providing exceptional customer service? We're seeking an enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Caloundra, Australia. As a key member of our café, you'll be responsible for creating delightful coffee experiences for our valued customers. Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, and speciality brews Greet customers warmly and take orders with a friendly, professional demeanour Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to food safety standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during busy periods Assist in stock management and inventory control Stay informed about coffee trends and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills Contribute to a positive work environment and support team goals Qualifications Proven experience as a Barista, with expertise in crafting quality espresso-based beverages Strong knowledge of various coffee brewing methods and current industry trends Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and transactions Food safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a hygienic work environment Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required Passion for coffee and eagerness to continually learn and improve barista skills
