OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet the needs and preferences of our clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their vision and translate it into innovative designs while ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer or in a similar role within the interior design industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is essential.
• Strong understanding of kitchen ergonomics, layout principles, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas to clients.
• A keen eye for aesthetics, colour schemes, and spatial arrangements.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A relevant qualification in interior design or architecture is preferred but not mandatory.

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and preferences for kitchen designs.
• Create detailed kitchen layouts using design software, ensuring optimal space utilisation and functionality.
• Select materials, finishes, and fixtures that align with the client’s vision and budget.
• Prepare presentations to showcase design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback as necessary.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and design techniques to provide clients with the best options available.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing spaces and measure dimensions accurately for design purposes.
