OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and creative customer focused Kitchen & Bedroom Designer to join our team, based at Wrexham in North Wales. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to transform clients’ visions into stunning, functional spaces. As a Designer, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, utilising your skills in design software and sales techniques to deliver exceptional results across Kitchens, Bedrooms, Home Office and Living Spaces.

The role is full time, based routinely in Wrexham, but also covering Oswestry and Whitchurch in Shropshire; 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day (rota based according to business needs). QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in CAD software is essential for creating detailed designs.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic maths skills are necessary for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Proven experience in upselling products or services within a retail or design environment is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for interior design with a focus on kitchens, bedrooms and living spaces is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in kitchen and/or bedroom design (retail experience a bonus).
  • Proficiency with Winner Flex design software (preferred, although training will be provided as required).
  • A strong eye for design, space planning, and detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and confident working as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence (essential for home visits).

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their kitchen, bedroom and living space design needs and preferences; understanding their budget, style choices and functional needs.
  • As a Kitchen & Bedroom Designer, you’ll work closely with customers from initial consultation through to project completion.
  • You’ll not only design bespoke spaces but also provide a measuring service by visiting customers’ homes to ensure accuracy and practicality.
  • Create detailed layouts using CAD software, we use Winner Flex (experience preferred), and EQ quoting software (experience preferred).
  • Present design concepts and ideas to clients, effectively communicating the benefits of each proposal.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and assist customers with product selection.
  • Follow up on leads, support customers through to installation, and ensure satisfaction throughout.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation.
  • Upsell products and services that enhance the overall kitchen & design experience.
  • Maintain an organised project schedule, ensuring timely completion of designs and installations.
  • Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, and appliances that align with client budgets and styles.
  • Conduct site measurements and assessments to ensure accurate designs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in kitchen design.
