JOB VACANCY: KITCHEN EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our company.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in any hotel, catering company, or commercial kitchen equipment service company.
• Ability to repair and maintain hot kitchen equipment such as Rational combi ovens, Convection oven, Gas/electric range with oven, Grill / Salamander grill, Fryer (single/double deep fryer), Tilting pan / Bratt pan, Boiling pan / Kettle / Boiler, Pizza oven, Microwave oven (commercial), Hot plates / Induction cooker, Shawarma machine / Rotisserie, Hot holding cabinets / Bain-marie.
• Knowledge of cold kitchen equipment such as Scotsman / Hoshizaki ice machines, freezers, chillers, ice cream machines, and juicer machines, Refrigerators (upright, undercounter, display chiller, salad counter, etc.), Cold holding counters / Prep counters.
• Experience with commercial Meiko dishwashers, Henkelman vacuum packaging machines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical faults.
• Preventive maintenance knowledge to reduce breakdowns.
• Ability to work independently without step-by-step guidance.
• Should be able to diagnose, repair, and test machines alone.
• Handle urgent breakdowns quickly and efficiently, even outside normal hours if required.
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documents.
• Good communication skills to update management about issues and required spare parts.
• Should be able to recommend spare parts and arrange correct replacements.
• Willing to visit client sites (hotels, restaurants, catering companies) when needed.
• Basic welding, plumbing, and electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Must keep tools organized and ensure proper use of safety equipment.
