Description

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on technician to install, service, and support our aerobic food waste digesters at client sites. If you have a background in kitchen equipment maintenance or supplier technical support — and you’re confident troubleshooting on-site, solving problems fast, and training end-users — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission digesters at client facilities.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency service visits.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot unit performance issues.
  • Replace faulty components; perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs.
  • Train chefs, kitchen staff, and facility teams on best practices and proper usage.
  • Maintain service logs, report issues, and liaise with the head office technical team.
  • Track and report parts usage; maintain inventory awareness.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in kitchen equipment servicing, supplier technical support, or similar field roles.
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written); able to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
  • Ability to work independently, manage field schedules, and maintain client relationships.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and training materials.
  • Valid UAE driver’s license and personal car — applications without this will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or appliance repair.
  • Experience working with hospitality clients, commercial kitchens, or facility maintenance teams.
