We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to assist with the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will support the kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness, preparing ingredients, and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
  • Clean and maintain all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and equipment.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
  • Unload and store food supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Assist kitchen staff with setting up and closing kitchen stations.
  • Dispose of waste and manage recycling in accordance with kitchen protocols.
  • Report any kitchen maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
