JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and meal preparation methods.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
