JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our restaurant/hotel, supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team within the hospitality industry.
• A willingness to assist in food preparation tasks when required, demonstrating a passion for culinary arts.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

• Wash and sanitise dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Organise and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas promptly.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety standards.
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods by helping with various tasks as required.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
