Kitchen Hand/Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the food manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for washing, sanitizing, and storing all pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or industrial kitchen environment (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high hygiene standards.
  • Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts Monday to Friday.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize pots, pans, trays, and other kitchen equipment following company hygiene standards.
  • Operate and maintain industrial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored in designated areas.
  • Dispose of waste and follow recycling protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness of pot wash areas, sinks, and surrounding workspaces.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with general cleaning duties as required, including floors, walls, and drains.
  • Report any damaged or faulty equipment to the supervisor.
  • Work as part of a team to support the overall efficiency of the kitchen or production area.
