KITCHEN ASSISTANT – AGED CARE FACILITY (TOCUMWAL, NSW)

Pay Rate: $35.75 – $40.76 per hour
Schedule: Shift work (including some weekends and evenings)

REQUIREMENTS

• National Police Check (mandatory)
• Food Handling Certificate (mandatory)
• Valid work rights in Australia
• Must be able to work onsite in Berrigan

We’re looking for a reliable and caring Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a warm, community-focused aged care facility in Tocumwal. You’ll play an important role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our elderly residents, supporting their health and wellbeing every day.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with meal preparation and plating, under the guidance of the Chef or Kitchen Manager
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen at all times
• Wash dishes, cooking utensils, and other kitchen items
• Support safe food storage and stock rotation
• Help with setting up and clearing dining areas
• Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols
• Assist in meal delivery to residents as needed
