Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a key role in ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will assist our chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. All training will be provided, so no experience is necessary.
We need someone who can work approximately 18-25 hrs per week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Assist in food preparation as directed by the chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing stock deliveries, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
  • Help manage waste and recycling in line with environmental and safety standards.
  • Support the team in ensuring food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
