Join the Goode Brothers Team! We’re a Kiwi-Italian gastropub in New Lynn, mixing Italian flair with modern Kiwi vibes. Fun, fresh, and full of flavour—come be part of it! Goode Brothers (New Lynn) is looking for an energetic Kitchen Hand to keep our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for washing dishes, keeping work areas clean and tidy, and helping our chefs with basic prep when needed. You’ll make sure everything is organised and ready so service can run without a hitch. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s reliable, hardworking, and keen to get their start in hospitality. Many of our chefs began their careers as Kitchen Hands, so if you’ve got a great attitude and enjoy being part of a busy, supportive team, this could be the perfect place to grow.
Responsibilities
The kitchen hand is responsible for washing dishes, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and assisting chefs with basic food preparation. They ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and that all necessary items are ready for service.
