JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring that food preparation and service run smoothly. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while supporting the chefs and kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A passion for cooking and the food industry is a plus, along with a willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and cooking techniques.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: From $19.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
  • Support cooking staff by preparing meals according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Follow food safety standards and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all food served.
  • Help with meal presentation and serving during peak hours to ensure timely service.
  • Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen.
