JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the lead cook and kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is essential.
  • Experience in food service or hospitality roles will be beneficial for this position.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic kitchen environment is crucial for success as a Kitchen Helper.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
  • Help with serving meals during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or head chef.
