OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring hygiene standards are met at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with basic food preparation, such as peeling vegetables and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including equipment, work areas, and storage spaces.
• Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
• Organize and prepare the kitchen before service to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow food safety standards, including knowledge of color coding, danger zones, and knife handling.
• Help with stock movement and storage organization.
• Support the kitchen team by filling in for absent staff and assisting wherever needed.
• Assist with production tasks, including packing, labeling, and portioning food items.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and work in a manner that reflects this.

CENTRAL KITCHEN DUTIES :

• Keep all areas of the central kitchen, including pot wash, washroom, and surrounding areas, clean and organized.
• Assist in moving and organizing supplies and inventory.
• Support bulk food preparation and packaging as required.
