Kitchen Hood & Suppression Technician Integrity Fire Safety Services, a recognized leader in Colorado’s fire and life safety industry, is growing and is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our successful team in and around Basalt, CO. This role is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of fire suppression systems within commercial facilities, kitchens, and more. This includes installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered kitchen fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting systems. Job Duties: Inspect and install fire extinguishers, fire protection equipment, and exit/ emergency lighting. Inspect, service, install kitchen hood suppression systems. Test and repair existing fire suppression systems. Perform inspections to ensure fire suppression systems are installed correctly. Complete inspection reports and document any issues. Present products to customers and identify positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition. Process work orders and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures. Core Competencies: Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Good organizational skills. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record that meets company requirements. Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must possess strong communication, negotiating, and time management skills. Flexible style; perseverance; action oriented; interpersonal savvy. Aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach); customer focused. Ability to work a full time schedule. Physical Requirements & Exposures: Must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather. Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Must be able to carry 50 pounds repeatedly. Must be able to push greater than 50 pounds as needed. Must be able to pull greater than 50 pounds as needed. Must be able to safely climb a ladder and reach a height of at least 12 ft. Candidates must successfully complete an employment background screening and MVR. Compensation: Potential total compensation for the first year is $45,000 to $75,000, with the potential for top performers to earn more.
