Job Description
-

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all kitchen and laundry equipment, including dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and ironing systems.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the Kitchen, Laundry, and other departments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, replacing defective parts as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with hotel and local regulations.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.
  • Assist in energy-saving initiatives by ensuring equipment is properly maintained for optimal efficiency.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for specialized repairs or spare parts procurement when required.
  • Support the Engineering team in other maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Uphold Accor and Fairmont service standards while fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

Qualifications
-

Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering (or related technical field).

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in maintaining kitchen and/or laundry equipment, preferably in a hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.
