Duties and Responsibilities  A Kitchen and Laundry Technician install, maintains, and repairs commercial cooking, refrigeration, and laundry machinery to ensure minimal operational downtime. This role involves troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and complying with safety regulations, primarily in hospitality or industrial settings. •    Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and calibration of kitchen (ovens, fryers, dishwashers, refrigerators) and laundry (washers, dryers, ironers) equipment. •    Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions and repair faulty equipment promptly to ensure smooth operations. Installation:  •    Assist in setting up and installing new laundry and kitchen appliances according to manufacturer specifications.  •    Safety & Compliance: Maintain compliance with safety standards (fire prevention, electrical safety) and keep accurate maintenance  •    Logs. Inventory Management: Manage spare parts inventory and requisition necessary items for repairs. Communication:  •    Respond promptly to repair requests from users and communicate with other departments. •    Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.  •    Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.  Qualifications To execute the position of Kitchen & Laundry Technician, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following: •    High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year experience in a similar setting.  •    Technical skills include the ability to analyze and design projects of limited complexity and scope.
