Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with our menu and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties: - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and portion control standards - Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards - Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures - Assist with inventory control, including ordering and receiving supplies - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area - Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items - Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members - Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Qualifications: - Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members - Proficient in using kitchen equipment and tools - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively We offer competitive pay based on experience, as well as opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
