This role focuses on preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and supporting culinary and food & beverage teams by keeping kitchen systems running at peak performance. Key responsibilities * Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, ranges, fryers, refrigeration units, dishwashers, mixers, steamers, ventilation, and fire suppression systems. * Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. * Replace worn or damaged components such as motors, belts, thermostats, valves, filters, and gaskets. * Respond promptly to equipment service calls and prioritize repairs with the Executive Chef and Culinary team. * Assist with installation of new kitchen equipment as needed. * Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. * Inspect gas lines, electrical connections, and water systems related to kitchen operations. * Follow proper lock-out/tag-out procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications  * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC fields preferred. * 2–4 years of experience maintaining commercial kitchen equipment (hotel or restaurant environment strongly preferred).
