Join a fun, creative team–and women-owned small business–located in the heart of Charlottesville. Our bakery-cafe offers eight different flavors of cake by the slice each month, in addition to whole cakes, savory fare and a charming weekly tea service.
Our Kitchen Manager will lead our BOH team with a focus on high volume baking, supporting all areas of production from batter and frostings to cake assembly to our weekly tea service prep, in addition to supporting our owner with creative menu planning, cost control and inventory management.
Minimum 1-2 years preferred.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, dependable and hard-working, with a willnessness to learn, train and grow with our business. We’re seeking bakers who possess a strong sense of urgency, great work ethic, positive attitude and good sense of humor to join us in a fun, rewarding and creative job.
This position is ~30 hours to start, with great potential for growth.
Saturday and Sunday availability is a must.
