Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.
  • Capable of working overtime, weekends, evenings, and special events as needed.
  • Great verbal and written communication.
  • Interact in a friendly and professional manner with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of recipes.
  • Excellent organizational and conflict management skills
  • Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends.
  • Be able to stand/ walk for at least an 8-hour shift and have the ability to lift/ move up to 50lbs.
  • Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operation of kitchen ensuring they are operating at peak efficiency and meeting company standards.
  • Know proper preparation of all menu items.
  • Oversee food deliveries and inventory.
  • Ability to keep kitchen organized, stocked, and clean.
  • Execution of policies, procedures, training programs, and work schedules.
  • Communicate daily menu changes and specials to BOH staff.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations, sanitation, and health standards.
  • Hire, train, develop, schedule, and retain employees.
  • Develop key performance goals and manage the performance of staff.
  • Works closely with General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Manager of Operations, Director of Operations, and Human Resources.
  • Train BOH staff on prep work and food plating techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the team to help provide excellent service throughout.
