SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Kitchen Manager to join our team at Everyday People in Nottingham. In this pivotal role, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that align with our mission of exceptional dining experiences. Your leadership will be key in maintaining our standards both back of house and fostering a positive kitchen environment during service.

Responsibilities

KEY TASKS

  1. Specification (Spec) reviews and management
  2. EHO compliance
  3. Stock management incl. ambient, walk in and freezer
  4. “Family” rota for staff meals
  5. Food and stock ordering
  6. Prep management (staff and produce)
  7. Kitchen operation management and uniform
  8. Expedite the pass
  9. Chef cover (if required)
  10. Line management of Chefs

PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN KITCHEN MANAGEMENT OR A SIMILAR ROLE WITHIN THE FOOD INDUSTRY.

  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on food production and preparation
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and suppliers
