REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or similar role (experience in Indian or Hyderabadi cuisine preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of kitchen workflows, inventory control, and budgeting.
  • Proficient in food safety and hygiene standards applicable in the UK.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Passionate about food, teamwork, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and prep personnel.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, consistency, and hygiene.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate with vendors for timely supply of ingredients.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, reduce waste, and control food and labor costs.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to coordinate service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement kitchen processes and procedures to optimize workflow.
  • Plan and assist in the creation of new menu items, specials, and seasonal offerings.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
