Toronto Tikki Co. is a bold and exciting new quick service restaurant (QSR) concept specializing in Delhi-style street food – from crispy tikkis to flavour-packed chaats. Our mission is to bring authentic North Indian street flavours to Toronto in a modern, consistent, and customer-focused format.
We are looking for a passionate and reliable full-time Kitchen Manager / Lead Cook who understands Indian flavours and kitchen operations inside-out, and is ready to grow with a fast-rising brand.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in an Indian kitchen, preferably in a QSR or high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of North Indian / Delhi-style street food such as tikkis, chaats, chutneys, etc.
  • Prior experience with recipe standardization and kitchen processes.
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations independently.
  • Must be comfortable working early mornings, evenings, and weekends as per store requirements.
  • Basic spoken English and/or Hindi/Punjabi is preferred.
  • Valid work authorization in Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Recipe Execution: Follow and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recipes for all menu items with precision and consistency.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Inventory & Procurement: Monitor inventory levels, handle procurement of ingredients/supplies, and reduce waste through effective stock control.
  • Training & Supervision: Train new kitchen staff, supervise back-of-house team, and ensure high performance and teamwork.
  • Menu Consistency: Ensure every dish meets our standards in taste, presentation, and portioning.
  • Customer Interaction: Occasionally handle customer interactions, especially in open kitchen scenarios or during rushes, with professionalism and warmth.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high food quality, consistency, and portion control at all times.
  • Team Leadership: Work closely with ownership to build an efficient and reliable team culture.
