The Kitchen Manager role is to provide strategic leadership and hands-on assistance to employees who prepare great tasting and great looking food for our guests. Critical responsibilities include being a role model of company policies and philosophies, teaching and coaching employees, and managing controls that contribute to restaurant profitability. Demonstration of a passion for food and attending to the details of food quality, safety and standards is critical. The Kitchen Manager is expected to create an equal opportunity environment that is safe and motivating for employees and to contribute to building his/her business through strong restaurant execution of food, work-environment, and community relations.

Key components of leadership include:

  • Maximize business results through planning and monitoring kitchen inventory, ordering and operations. Contribute to building restaurant guest counts, increasing earnings and improvement to food quality.
  • Demonstrate company values and principles in dealings with guests, managers, employees and in the community.
  • Strengthen employee performance by providing direction that is clear, ongoing coaching and holding employees accountable for performance.
