Responsibilities
  • Recipe Costing & Analysis: Maintain accurate cost sheets for all menu items, updating them when ingredient prices or suppliers change
  • Inventory Management: Oversee weekly and monthly inventory using MarginEdge, ensuring accurate counts, minimal waste, and efficient ordering
  • Vendor & Purchasing Oversight: Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing where possible
  • Labor & Scheduling Oversight: Manage kitchen scheduling and labor hours via 7shifts, ensuring staffing aligns with sales
  • Prep & Production Oversight: Ensure consistent recipe execution and portion control according to brand standards
  • Kitchen Workflow & Organization: Maintain efficient, clean, and compliant kitchen operations at all times
  • Team Leadership: Train, support, and coach kitchen staff to perform at their best while fostering a positive, collaborative environment
  • Product Rollouts: Work with ownership to launch new menu items and seasonal offerings, ensuring they are properly costed, documented, and scalable
  • Systems & Reporting: Use Toast POS and Google Suite to track sales trends, labor %, and food cost performance, submitting weekly updates to ownership
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
