Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team by example, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to produce exceptional food.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to ensure efficient kitchen operations and profitability.
  • Train and mentor kitchen team members, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers within the culinary field.
  • Implement and uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring the kitchen meets all compliance standards.
  • Monitor kitchen performance metrics and create action plans to improve efficiency, productivity, and guest satisfaction.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Kitchen Leader: 1-2+ years of proven experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety standards, with a passion for creating delicious dishes.
  • Leadership Qualities: Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team, promoting a positive and productive kitchen culture.
  • Business Acumen: A knack for managing costs, inventory, and kitchen operations while maintaining food quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Passion for People: You enjoy engaging with your team and fostering a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
