Rance’s Chicago Pizza Long Beach is currently looking for a Full Time CLOSING Kitchen Manager/Head Chef. 3-5 Years of Kitchen Leadership is required for this position. We are a thriving company that is looking to add a real team leader that will take charge of the kitchen as well as any other Managerial Duties. The ideal candidate should also expect to uphold our great customer service standards and culture. Working nights, weekends and holidays is a must.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience as head chef
  • Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Credentials in health and safety training

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift objects of up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to maintain a safe work area in an environment where open flames and sharp objects can pose safety hazards if not handled properly
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
  • Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
  • Arrange for repairs when necessary
  • Remedy any problems or defects
  • Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff
