This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment, focusing on delivering high-quality, scratch-made dishes that delight our guests. As a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef, you will play a critical role in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. You will collaborate with the executive chef to create innovative menus and train kitchen staff, all while maintaining a positive and productive kitchen culture. We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually, along with opportunities for career advancement in the vibrant restaurant industry. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff management Assist in menu planning and development of new recipes Ensure food quality and safety standards are maintained Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques and best practices Manage inventory and order supplies as needed Implement and maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service Monitor and control food costs and labor expenses Requirements 5+ years of experience in a culinary leadership role Proven experience in managing kitchen operations in a restaurant Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Excellent culinary skills with a passion for scratch cooking Ability to lead and motivate a diverse kitchen team Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Formal culinary education is preferred
