OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring that all food preparation meets our restaurant’s standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a kitchen management role within the food industry or restaurant setting.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills to lead a diverse group effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Familiarity with hospitality standards and best practices in restaurant management.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting professional development.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new kitchen staff as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations.
  • Utilize POS systems effectively for cash handling and order management, including experience with Micros POS preferred.
