BRAND NEW SITE OPENING Here at Manzoku we are looking for Kitchen Manager who has a passion for food and is able to be responsible for leading the kitchen team in preparation and cooking of the Manzoku Menu, ensuring food of high quality and consistency is delivered to our customers. Experienced in overseeing the day to day operations in having a successful day. We are located inside Society, a brand new trendy bar,coming from Manchester that includes four other food vendors and a cool 30 tap craft ale bar. We’re a great bunch here and working together on such a big site is great fun.
Kitchen experience minimum of 2 years essential.
As kitchen manager, your responsibilities whilst on shift will include:
Making sure food is cooked and goes out to high standard and great quality.
Open/Close operations whilst on shift.
Completing Due Dilligence to an EHO 5* Level at all times, ensuring your team complies with this at all times too.
Staff rotas, staff holidays.
Ordering of food stock and overseeing deliveries.
Delegating jobs to other staff when you aren’t on site.
Level 3 Food Safety Certificate a must.
Help with the clean down and ensuring it is done to a high standard and adhering to a haccp plan.
Closing down of the store.
Overseeing that all food going out is cooked to only a high quality and standard.
Bring to the head chefs attention any issues arising with the food.
Promote food safety to other team members, sticking to strict government regulations at all times.
Be willing to help with menu development.

What we are looking for in our successful candidate:

  • Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent, and a working knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • HACCP experience
  • Experience of managing stock and organising safe food storage
  • Good communication and customer skills
  • Flexible and can-do attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic approach
  • Ability to train people, delegate and lead a team

What we offer:
£14 - 14.50 per hour starting wage.
Full time, 45 contracted hours per week. START DATE 31ST AUGUST!
Contracted hours.
Holiday pay.
Free food on shift, discounted food when not on shift.
