KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Food hygiene certificate - Level 2 desirable. However, relevant training will be provided.
  • Specific jobs may also require barista training
  • BICs training for cleaning duties - Desirable but not essential.
  • No previous experience required, but 1-2 years’ experience in a food services ,retail or cleaning environment desirable.

YOUR ROLE

Aramark Food Services is currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team in Guinness Store House, Market Street South, Dublin 8. An excellent opportunity has arisen in this high profile site for an experienced Kitchen Porter with a proven track record of achieving success in previous roles .Located in the heart of the working St. James’s Gate Brewery in Dublin, Guinness Storehouse is one of the most exciting and unusual Dublin conference & events venues with breath taking views of the Dublin city skyline and has a variety of unique restaurants, bars and the capacity to hold events for up to 2000 people.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General Kitchen Porter role
  • Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services in line with Aramark brand standards
  • Clean BOH and FOH areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
  • Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/ preparation and public areas.
  • All cleaning duties within a Mess Area and associated blocks at the site.
  • Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the work.
  • Perform daily paper work she/he is assigned
  • Keeps diligent records as required
  • Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
  • Undertake relevant training as required
