PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Kitchen Porter is responsible for helping to keep the kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. Their main tasks will be:

• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (training provided)

GENERAL DUTIES

• Support the kitchen team with various tasks as needed
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
• Dispose of trash and recycling properly
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor
• To support and assist the wider restaurant team when required.
