SUMMARY

We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team at Duke of Oxford. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and Back of House operations, contributing to the overall experience for our guests.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to interact with kitchen staff.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene practices.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and ensure all kitchen areas are clean and organised.
  • Ensure the Back of house areas (cellars and back courtyards) are clean and tidy.
  • Checking in and putting away deliveries.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
  • Support chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, surfaces, and equipment.
  • Help with stock rotation and storage of food items.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
