ROLE:

As a kitchen assistant you will be required to complete tasks in the kitchen including duties such as cleaning, washing up and basic food preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Senior Kitchen Staff within a Nursing Home setting
• Keeping Kitchen area clean & tidy
• Operating dishwasher & other kitchen equipment
• Filling & emptying catering trolleys
• Managing waste management
• Some food preparation
• Assisting with clearing tables on the dining room floor
• Cleaning Dining Room area
• Familiarise yourself with the Food Hygiene Manual and follow the standards stipulated.
• Ensure thorough and frequent hand-washing.
• Adhere strictly to hygiene requirements before and after using the toilet accommodation.
